The Story
#

A long, long time ago, Zeus wanted to punish humans. He created a woman named Pandora.

Zeus gave Pandora a beautiful box and said: “You must never open this box!”

Pandora was very curious: “What could be inside the box?”

She looked at the box every day, feeling itchy with curiosity.

“Just one peek, it should be okay, right?” Pandora thought.

Finally one day, Pandora couldn’t resist anymore. She opened the box—

“Whoosh!”

Many terrible things flew out of the box: sickness, pain, jealousy, greed, anger…

These bad things flew all over the world. People started getting sick, arguing, and feeling sad.

Pandora was scared and quickly closed the box.

“Oh no! I’ve caused trouble!” Pandora cried.

Just then, a tiny voice came from inside the box: “Don’t cry, I’m still in here!”

Pandora opened the box again, and a glowing little fairy flew out.

It was “Hope”!

From then on, although there were bad things in the world, people always had hope in their hearts.

Little friends, no matter what difficulties you face, remember: hope is always there!
