The Story#
A long, long time ago, in Greek mythology, there was a beautiful moon goddess named Artemis.
Artemis was Apollo’s twin sister. She was very beautiful, with silver hair that shone like moonlight.
She was the goddess of hunting, often carrying a silver bow and arrows, running through the forests.
Artemis especially loved small animals. She protected the deer, rabbits, and various creatures in the forest.
One day, a hunter sneaked into the forest, trying to catch a little deer.
“Don’t hurt it!” Artemis appeared.
She raised her bow and arrow. The hunter dropped his weapon in fear and ran away.
The little deer looked at Artemis gratefully and rubbed against her leg.
Artemis patted the little deer’s head: “Don’t worry, I’ll protect you.”
At night, Artemis drove her silver moon chariot, patrolling the night sky.
She was always followed by a group of nymphs. Together they danced and sang under the moonlight.
Little friends, when you see the moon at night, that’s Artemis watching over us!
What the Story Teaches Us#
Artemis protected the small animals in the forest. She teaches us to love animals, protect nature, and give small animals a safe home.
