#

A long, long time ago, the Greeks and Trojans fought for ten whole years!

The city of Troy was so strong that the Greeks couldn’t break through.

The clever Odysseus thought of a plan.

“Let’s build a big wooden horse, hide soldiers inside, and pretend to retreat!” Odysseus said.

The Greeks built a super big wooden horse and hid soldiers inside.

Then, the Greek army pretended to retreat, leaving only the big wooden horse.

The Trojans thought the Greeks had run away and were overjoyed!

“This big wooden horse is a gift the Greeks left behind. Let’s bring it into the city!” the Trojans said.

At night, the Trojans celebrated their victory and drank lots of wine. Everyone fell asleep.

In the middle of the night, the Greek soldiers hidden in the wooden horse quietly climbed out.

They opened the city gates, and the Greek army outside rushed in!

“Charge!”

The Trojans were still sleeping when they were defeated.

The Greeks won with wisdom!
