The Story#
A long, long time ago, after the Trojan War ended, Odysseus began his journey home.
But his journey was filled with dangers.
He met a Cyclops! The giant locked him and his companions in a cave, wanting to eat them.
Odysseus thought of a plan. He used a sharp wooden stick to blind the giant and escaped with his companions.
He then met the witch Circe, who turned Odysseus’s companions into pigs!
Odysseus saved his companions and continued forward.
He also encountered the Sirens. Their singing was so beautiful that anyone who heard it would jump into the sea.
Odysseus had his companions seal their ears with wax and tied himself to the mast, passing safely through.
He also passed through the strait where monsters Scylla and Charybdis lived, losing many companions.
Finally, after ten years, Odysseus returned home!
His wife Penelope had been waiting for him all this time. They were finally reunited.
Little friends, Odysseus went through many hardships but never gave up. He was truly a brave and clever man!
What the Story Teaches Us#
Odysseus faced many difficulties but never gave up. This story teaches us that no matter how hard the journey home, we must persist. Our families are waiting for us, and we should cherish them.
