The Story
#

A long, long time ago, in Norse mythology, there was a mighty god of thunder named Thor.

Thor was Odin’s son. He was very strong, with a red beard and incredible power!

He had a magical hammer called “Mjölnir.”

This hammer was amazing! When thrown, it could defeat any enemy, and it would automatically fly back to Thor’s hand.

“Boom!”

When Thor swung his hammer, thunder would crash in the sky. That’s why he’s the god of thunder!

One day, a giant king stole Thor’s hammer.

“If you want the hammer back, marry the goddess Freya to me!” the giant king said.

Thor was desperate. Without his hammer, he couldn’t protect the realm of the gods.

The trickster god Loki thought of a plan: “Thor, dress up as a bride, and I’ll help you get the hammer back!”

Thor put on a bride’s dress, pretending to be Freya, and went to the giant’s palace.

The giant king was happy and put the hammer on the “bride’s” lap.

Thor grabbed the hammer and jumped up!

“Boom!”

He used the hammer to defeat the giant king and got his hammer back.

Little friends, Thor used wisdom to get his hammer back and protect the realm of the gods!
