The Story#
A long, long time ago, a thirsty crow found a pitcher with some water in it.
The crow wanted to drink.
He put his beak into the pitcher.
“Uh-oh!” the crow said. “The water is too low. I can’t reach it.”
The crow looked around.
“Ah! I have an idea!” the crow said.
He found some small stones.
“Drop… drop… drop…”
The crow dropped a stone into the pitcher.
“Whoosh!”
The water level went up a little bit.
The crow dropped more stones.
“Drop… drop… drop… drop…”
The water level went up and up.
Finally, the water was high enough for the crow to drink!
The crow drank the water and was happy.
He learned that small things can make a big difference.
Little friends, the crow was clever. He used his brain to solve a problem.
