The Story#
A long, long time ago, a hungry fox saw some beautiful grapes hanging on a vine.
The grapes were purple and shiny, looking very delicious.
The fox wanted to eat them.
He jumped up to reach the first grape, but the vine was too high.
He jumped higher, but the grapes were still out of reach.
He jumped again and again, but couldn’t reach them.
Finally, the fox was tired and gave up.
“Those grapes must be sour anyway,” he said. “I don’t want them.”
The fox walked away, leaving the grapes behind.
But the grapes were actually sweet and delicious!
The fox was just making excuses because he couldn’t get them.
Little friends, don’t be like the fox. If you want something, work hard to get it!
