The Story#
A long, long time ago, there was a big lion and a small mouse.
One day, the lion caught the mouse.
“Let me go!” the mouse said. “I’m too small to eat!”
The lion laughed: “You’re too small to help me, but you’re too big to eat!”
The lion let the mouse go.
“Thank you!” the mouse said.
A few days later, the lion was caught in a hunter’s net.
“Help! Help!” the lion roared.
The mouse heard the lion and ran to help.
The mouse bit the net again and again.
“Chomp! Chomp! Chomp!”
The mouse was small, but he was persistent.
Finally, the net broke!
The lion was free!
“Thank you!” the lion said. “You’re small, but you’re strong.”
The mouse said: “Small things can be helpful too.”
Little friends, the lion and the mouse became friends.
The story teaches us: everyone can help, no matter how small or big they are.
What the Story Teaches Us#
